Hello lovelies!
Well this week has been rather a large stresser for me and
well if you watch Bast_50’s Twitch channel or are on his discord; you maybe
might have not seen me as active as I normally am. I do apologize and am sorry
I haven’t been around to help out the community as I normally am. I do have a
lovely story to tell you about that.
On Monday I received
a call from Enterprise rental car company to tell me my insurnance’s $600
allotment for car rental was up. Well this was a bit of a shock so I called the
mechanic, who happened to have my car in his shop. (I was rear ended 4 weeks
ago and had a bit of damage to the car.) He told me my car had been deemed
unrepairable and a total loss. That shocked me even more since they deemed it a
total loss ***10*** days ago and didn’t call to inform me. Sooo Scramble time
right? Yup!
So I call my insurance company and they were like “Ah what
do you mean you weren’t called?” Yeah, I was a bit put off by this response. I
then told them how I found out and that I needed an extension on my rental plus
wanting to know what my payout would be. So I received a number for the payout
and then was told that a manager would have to ok an extension on the rental. I
said wonderful please let me know this afternoon as to what is going on with
the manger.
Tuesday, I called
my insurance again to find out that was going on about the extension on the
rental and if I was going to get my check soon. This lovely lady Phyllis told
me that she was going to handle what she could today and call me back. I did
get a call back from my insurance by a manager to extend my rental and that the
check was being processed to get sent to me. He told me I had to have my title
and get ready when my insurance agent called me to turn the title over and then
get the check. This check would then be the down payment on a new car. I
started to look for the title then and thought I had remembered where it was.
Nope.
Wednesday, waiting
for the call from my insurance agent and just kind of chilling at work. It wasn’t
until I got home that I had to buckle down and find the title to the car. I was
up until 2:30 am with no title and frustration galore!
Thursday, So here
we are today. I have called the Chicago DMV to find out what I have to do to
get the title. Happily I found there is an expedited service; though it costs a
bit more than I should pay but well TIME CRUNCH! So handled that and paid;
though I had call the bank I had the car loan with. They had to show that I had
paid off the car and that it was mine free and clear.
Waiting for the phone call as I watch time ticking away. I
had until noon to get this processed today so that I’d have the title by
tomorrow. So a bit of a small time frame, I called the bank again after not
hearing from them (he had quoted me should take 30 minutes). The guy had
stepped out, so fuck it I called the DMV. They did get the loan papers, and was
processing my payment.
So now PTO request put in and now I’m hoping for that to be
accepted so that tomorrow will be a day of Junie GONE wild! Literally I’ll be
zipping around Chicago getting as much as I can done before the car rental is
due on Sunday.

Well with all of this said and done I hope that you are all having

over with. Next issue Bunny’s first week of college, which is next week. I’m
too young for this! I’m totally going to play a lot of Overwatch this weekend!
